LEADER OF DEMOCRACY 2024
Honoring Representative Brianna Titone

ON JUNE 15, 2024
, the League of Women Voters of Colorado will proudly honor REPRESENTATIVE BRIANNA TITONE of Colorado’s 27th State House District as the recipient of the 2024 Leader of Democracy Award. Representative Titone has been recognized for her unwavering commitment to restoring trust in our electoral processes and elected representatives.

Throughout her tenure, Representative Titone has demonstrated a steadfast dedication to safeguarding Colorado’s environmental and water resources while championing legislation aimed at decriminalizing poverty. Her advocacy includes initiatives such as advocating for tax credits and ensuring eviction fairness, all aimed at promoting respect, equity, and justice for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, particularly youth.

At a time when individuals in other states face discrimination for embracing their true identities, Representative Titone's outspoken support for vulnerable children and adults has been both essential and invaluable.

For those unable to attend in person, we are grateful to our partner El Semanario for livestreaming this event, ensuring that all can participate in celebrating Representative Titone's remarkable achievements.
