 MEDIA LITERACY IMPLEMENTATION

This bi-partisan bill requires the Colorado Department of Education to create and maintain an online resource bank of materials and resources pertaining to media literacy, provide technical assistance on implementing policies and procedures, best practices, and recommendations related to media literacy, and to review and adopt revisions that implement media literacy within reading, writing, and civics standards in our schools.  HB21-1103 – Media Literacy Implementation is scheduled for second reading on the House Floor on Friday March 19.

Media literacy and an informed and engaged citizenry is critical to the health of our democracy! TAKE ACTION! Contact your Representative to urge them to vote YES on HB21-1103.
