The Housing Task Force is excited to welcome guest speaker Robin Kneich, Fellow with the Bell Policy Center and former Denver City Council Member.
Robin will be speaking about opportunities and challenges of land use to promote affordable housing and other equity policies impacting affordability.
Robin Kniech has nearly 20 years of policy experience in the non-profit and public sectors ranging from women’s rights, affordable housing, economic justice, and quality jobs. Prior to her election to the city council in 2011, Robin served as the Program Director for Front Range Economic Strategy Center, a metro Denver non-profit organization focused on ensuring that public investments in development and transit build sustainable communities that benefit residents of all incomes. Robin served for more than 2 years as a Mayor Hickenlooper appointee on the Denver Union Station Project Authority. Robin is the first out member of the LGBT community to serve on the Denver City Council. She currently serves as a Fellow with the Bell Policy Center in Denver working on land use reform issues.
