Since turn-on is coming up soon for Estes Park, I contacted the Service Department of Club Express to alert them. Turn-on is a big step -- exciting in itself, and necessitating lots of back-end work at Club Express.
You may have heard of the difficulties that LaPlata had with coordinating the expired memberships that resulted in many people receiving automatic notification that their membership had expired. Gunnison ran into another sort of problem related to moving the membership from one database to another which cut off access for a short time.
We have some band-aids in place on the State Office site that should help avoid most problems.
So, when you are ready to discuss moving the membership data, contact Cameron Manning at the State Office ( info@lwvcolorado.org ). He is working closely with Club Express and will advise you on the best path forward: updating information on the State Office site before transfer and so on.
This is an exciting time. If you have questions or problems, do not hesitate to contact me. I'll chase down answers.
