LEARN ABOUT THE 11 ISSUES ON THE COLORADO BALLOT!

Since 1936, the League of Women Voters of Colorado has regularly published explanations and pro and con arguments on each of the ballot issues in every statewide election. It needs to be understood that the pro and con arguments published by the League are not the opinions or endorsements of the League.  Rather, they are arguments from the individuals and groups that support or oppose each issue.  We encourage you to study these opinions before casting your ballot. LWVCO has taken stances on 4 of the 11 ballot measures. For more information, click here.

Volunteer Opportunity to Support Spanish Speaking Voters

888-VE-Y-VOTA is a national hotline seeking Spanish speaking volunteers to answer calls from voters. NALEO, CLLARO, and Just Vote! Colorado Election Protection are partnering to recruit Colorado volunteers to answer calls from Colorado Voters.

CLLARO is offering a $210 stipend for volunteers.

Volunteers have two ways to participate:
1. At the Call Center in Denver on November 7th or November 8th for one of these shifts
2. Virtually on November 8th by contacting David Martinez

For more information, please contact Katie Dahl or David Martinez.

Check out this radio interview with KVNF and LWVCO's Executive Director, Beth Hendrix! Beth discusses the importance of defending our democracy and protecting the valuable work LWVCO does every day. Click here to listen to the interview.

As part of the 2030 Census planning efforts, the public is invited to share feedback on how the Census Bureau can improve the public's experience with the census. With this input, the Census Bureau aims to better reach and count historically undercounted people, overcome challenges, and encourage everyone to respond to the 2030 Census. LWVUS has created guidance for Leagues to submit their own comments and instructions for how to do so. Comments are due November 15 by 11:59 PM.
